*phew* Was half expecting that answer and half expecting a "of course
we've thought of that, you silly, silly person" ;)

Coming from a telecom enthusiast background, and having.... *tries to
think of best legal way to phrase this*.....

Lets just say analogue mobiles were *fabulous!!!* and analogue cordless
still can be..... ;->

When people aren't conciously aware of it, things that really shouldn't
be sent unencrypted over the airwaves can easily be trapped and either
ignored or acted upon......

Discussions about what you're having for dinner tonight, or whose turn
it is to take the dog for a walk are generally fine, but when you're
talking about anything relating to business, arrangements to have an
empty house at various points, discussions of .... *ahem* intimate
things etc..... are probably not the sort of things you want to
broadcast to the world!

Ooooh, just noticed Dave McLaughlin has posted about voice scrambling
ones...... you've obviously got to think about balancing the cost/
feature set/ required security level etc.... I don't know how much of a
premium these sort of features command.
