RE: OTish - Digital Wireless Phones

Tony

I have a Philips Dect phone as well, and had the problem where the main
answer button wasn't working properly and would need pressed twice
sometimes, which often meant that calls were answered and cut off almost
immediately. But it's easily fixed - just take it apart and if you find
the board and rubber membrane sort of damp and/or sticky, just give it a
good clean, put it together and it's as good as new.

Much cheaper than replacing the phone.

I got a refurbished set for 1/2 nothign somewhere on the web (soz, can't

remember where) and apart from a bit of chipping on the facia, they
seemed
fine - though SWMBO claims that one of them sometimes doesn't answer &
you have
to press the answer button twice. Whether this is due to them being
refurb, or
an actual problem with the sets, I don't know.....

HTH,

Tony
