Are you intending on using the cat5 for the momentary switch if you use x10
???...I think the momentry input on the x10 din modules is 240v ???

Sorry about covering LV ground again but as a newbie I havent quite
got used to the message traffic on this list yet and searching it
takes some time on a vintage analogue connection :-)

I still have not made a decision on x10 or Cbus so here is what I am
proposing to test out this weekend - I hope someone will give it the
UKHA seal of approval or (more likely) put me straight!

I am going to wire a circuit straight from fuse box to switch and
fuse box to LV transformers. I will also run Cat5 from Node 0 to
switch.

My assumption is that this does not proclude Cbus if I decide to do a
course and if I decide x10 I can stick a dinrail module in the fuse
box and a momentary switch on the wall.

So how did I do ??? :-)
