Sorry - come to this thread a few days late. Is this upload speed still
the issue stopping this happening? At 256k upload speed (standard for
most 512k broadband connections) 1.3gb should take under an hour and a
half. So I'm happy to set it running one evening, and see if it's
finished by the morning.

If you'd like me to give it a go, can anyone who's got the CDs provide
me with a copy of the files to upload? (e-mail me off-list for my home
address)
Calum, if I get hold of the files, I'll e-mail you offlist to get the
ftp details?

With regards to splitting the files, is this really necessary? If
you've got broadband, it's an easy download in one chunk (install a
download manager if your connection doesn't usually stay up for 45
mins). For the 56k lot, it will take forever anyway, so probably best
to get a copy from one of the people who've volunteered to produce the
CDs? (or install a download manager if you really want to try!)

Rgds,
Jake.

1.3gb is nothing nowadays. I think someone suggested splitting the file
into several smaller chunks to help people on the slower connections
tho.

My server is sitting there ready and waiting, all I need is for someone
to jump up and tell me they can upload the files and I'll setup an ftp
account for them to do so.

If you're going to uplpoad to me and people think it's a good idea to
split the files .. please do so FIRST as my server connection is fast
but my home connection isn't!!

Email me directly if you're able to split and upload. You'll get through

without any problems as I don't use RBLs.
