The software is client server, 1 server to many clients. As long as the
server stays running it should work fine. Note that Synergy does not switch
screens just keyboard and mouse.

I've got a KVM switch I use to switch a centre monitor (of three) to my
edit PC. How does the s/w deal with PC's being turned on/off and sitting in
different locations?

Paul.

already has a dual monitor attached. I then installed the client component
on my Windows 2000 PC sitting next to it and hey presto, I can now move my
mouse pointer across all three screens and have full control of both
machines from my laptop keyboard How cool is that! Well I was impressed
anyway :-)

Sounds cool!

/me awaits the review :)
