Smart Displays

Hi

I'm new to the list so don't know if there has been much discussion on
smart displays. I would be interested in the groups feelings on these.

I see there are a number available now such as

These lovelies from Viewsonic look like the DB's.

I know these things use a thin client from a host PC, but at least they
can appear to run the latest MS OS with very little processing power,
the battery life should be OK and with wireless connectivity they are
very convenient things.

I believe 802.11b doesn't have the bandwidth for video streaming but
with a and g maybe even that would be possible.

At $759 for the 10" and $949 for the 15" they look like good
value. What
do you think?
