ew days away following the meet, so I have only just got round to working

Total Attendees on Saturday : 96
Total Attendees on Sunday : 75
Total money received : =A32,879.50
Money left over from last year : =A350.00
Cost of rooms : -=A31,250.00
Cost of prizes : -=A3455.64
Other costs : -=A3144.50
Surplus : =A31,079.36

As you can see we did rather well in the end and this certainly gives us a

nice deposit on next year's event! However it also shows just how much
thin=
gs changed in the few weeks leading up to the event. About a third of the
m=
oney received was actually paid on the day and it was only about a month
be=
fore the event that I was confident of enough surplus to buy prizes.
Needle=
ss to say, advance knowledge of an extra grand could have made a big
differ=
ence in a various areas.

All in all though, an excellent result and a very good platform to build
on=
next year.
