Just to add weight to Dean's point I have HV but make extensive use of Go
directly to xx level with my LD11's.  As for tracking changes I think
you're right and I wouldn't bother too much about it.  Especially for the
UK market where we don't have many X10 modules supporting status.  You
could track the dim level all day and then someone comes along and switches
it off manually.
