Steady on Phil, there was no intention here to shaft anyone? The deal
was perfectly legit and nothing underhand occurred. People just
accelerated their chocky purchase. Mars ended up with the same amount of
chocolate being sold.
I think it's perfectly reasonable for people to get upset if a promotion
set to run to November runs out of an offer in may, but I fully
appreciate they would have to have put a cap on it. Pity they just
couldn't have given everyone a bit more notice or removed the offer from
the web site promptly!
