I'd buy a few more and doubtless end up buying extra expansion=20
boards - but not @ =A347+Vat each.

Do you really need a current detector?
A relay with a mains voltage coil connected in parallel with the=20
(switched) pump supply should do the trick, I'd have thought, if you=20
can arrange it such that it complies with the wiring regs.
