RE: ZoneMinder
I've just gone through long and painful ZM builds on both RH9 and Mandrake
(working great now though). Which distribution do you have installed?
Sometimes the MySQL header files (MySQL-Dev or called something similar)
are hidden away in the package install screen. As Q says - you need to
install them.
I originally installed RH9.1 but had major problems with the PC running out
of memory and locking up (a memory leak somewhere). In the end, I ditched
RH and installed Mandrake which works well now.
