Ahh cr*p, just filled in the bringingbroadband2u area co-ordinator pack
request :(

We have 140 people in the village interested in broadband, but have had no
activiation level set by BT. This looked like it may have been the answer.

I've already spent money on a wacking 800mm satelitte dish for the great
white hope of Shatallite broadband, but that seems to be dieing on its feet
:(

Rats - I only needed 98 more subscribers. Well back to sitting on my arse
and waiting for BT/NTL. My house is 200 Yards too far from the exchange.
I
could move a couple of door up!

Liberty broadband no longer exist.

See

http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/archive/28752.html

It's since been bought out by Firstnet.

Firstnet however seem to not want the hardware that's still attached to
the wall of my house.

there is a company called Liberty Broadband who offer RF broadband in some
areas - Better still, if you can get 100 interested potential subscribers
within a 15km radius they will bring Broadband to you - they even give you
a
presspack and pay for your stamps! Check it out
http://www.bringingbroadband2u.co.uk/.
I am doing it at the moment - it
might come to nothing, but beats sitting on your arse and waiting for
BT/NTL
to come down your street.
