RE: USB -> Serial



Gentlemen,

Following on from the conversation last night as C-Bus uses a serial port
to
be programmed it is something which I have had a lot of headaches with this
year.  The "belkin" USB-Serial did not work at all for C-Bus
programming on
any COM port,  most of the others are just a USB on one end and Serial on
the other with a length of cable in between and had to be set on Com Port 1
on all types of Windows the only one which was 100% reliable for what the
C-Bus system wanted to do was the one from easysync and they seem to be the
leaders in this.
