OK, working now - Disabled my fixed comm. Port, set the prolific device as

com1 and it worked OK with pronto edit.

BUT - just installed it on XP (XP showed as COM4) but ProntoEdit v4
wouldn'=
t connect - maybe my setup or you need to re-install prontoedit etc???

Just got one of these - =A37

Works with ProntoEdit on my lappy with XP.  Had to disable the IR-Serial
port in BIOS so it could use COM1
