Plug in. Recognise Modem. Install Modem. Connect to Internet. Check weather
for my walking weekend in the lakes at BBC weather.  Log off.

All via my USB-Serial and Hayes Modem.  the things I do to avoid working!!!

I am happy to supply details of this device - It is a nice silver colour as
well!

Well, anything involving connecting with a modem to the net to it will
definitley tell you wether it works in both directions :)

Alternatively, uploading from a Pronto and downloading to a Pronto would
do the same thing.
