Thanks to those who responded.  A couple of trivial questions, as
follow-up.
There are two options, one with, one without a datalogger, from the
comments
I assume you dont have the datalogger, but connect direct to PC?

How far do you have the weather station from the PC, mine will need to be
about 30feet as the cable runs? and what about from the measurement
instruments to the bit with the buttons/display?

8xAAA batteries and mains, what are the batteries for, any idea?
