I've seen a couple of window units for sale here in the UK. Can't remember
the site but if you can't find anything I'll have a look through my
history???



Trouble is, you need to modify the window to get them to fit = messy and
not a very popular option. May be better to get a properly installed unit
instead. There are a few wall mount units that vent directly through the
wall.



I also can't imagine that the window units are particularly high power
either.



I'm hopefully getting my fully installed unit next week :-) nice-looking

When I was in the states I had a air con unit which fit into a window. I
bought it from sears Kenmore was the make.
I have not seen anything like it here. Could I use a US model here ?
