Re: [ukha_d] [OTish] Mult-Region Toshiba DVD Player - £79.99 inc Delivery

Hi Mark,

I have no problem with the post being placed, but I think that any
unsolicited post that someone can directly profit from should be flagged as
such. Otherwise, what's to stop me, or anyone else, just trailing through
Amazon and continually just posting links to the list in the hope of
creaming off a margin. It wasn't as if the link to the intermediate site
added any value, except to the poster, or was even 'News' as the DVD is not
a new product and has been at this price elsewhere for a while.

It's not that big a deal I agree but in my opinion postings who's primary
purpose is to generate a profit for the sender should be labelled
differently to those who's primary purpose is to inform. The subject lines
of most posts illustrate their content but that doesn't stop courtesy
dictating that ADVERT or OT be used appropriately, in the former case as
much as anything else to highlight the financial interest of the poster.

Cheers,

Phil,
