RE: Discrete On/Off Codes - Philips DVDR

I haven't come across one in my dealings with Philips remotes.  I also
had a quick browse thru the Philips remote config files on the LIRC site
and none of them contained one.  Hope someone wiser responds to your
call.

I also wonder if the DVD is in fact RC-5.  A lot of new Philips stuff is
now RC-6.
