Extra cool! (well, I wish it was here).

I'll give it a go myself - already got an optical to coax converter waiting
:-)

Dear all,

After some discussion on the KAT5 mailing list, Keith Doxey
hypothesized that it MIGHT be possible to run a raw digital stream
over the VIDEO channel of a KAT5 transmitter-receiver pair.

Keith asked for someone to test this theory.

The reason for picking the video channel rather than one of the audio
channels is that the video circuits have an impendance of 75ohms.

Well, I've just tested it, and it works!!! In the sense of, plug and
play, first time, no problemo.

I am, to say the least, a happy bunny.

Regards,

Mark
