If  you have a genuine licence then it shouldnt be too hard to find an XP
downloadable ISO from one of the many "off-site backup storage"
facilities
;-). Of course If you're on dial-up then downloading a 600 mb iso probably
isnt your preferred option.

I need a Windows xP/Professional CD media only so I can re-install on
my laptop, which came with xP pre-installed.  Where the heck can I
get one of these?

IBM (Makers of ThinkPad, the machine in question) point out that
there is an xP re-install facility on the hard disk, but thats not
terribly useful if you dont use their hard disk.....
