I think OS/2 will still be supported within IBM for a while. Not sure if
the push to Linux extends to things like this - it has no real marketing
benefits AFAIK for such devices.

says
they've officially withdrawn it from sale direct (On or after that date,
you can no longer obtain these part numbers directly from IBM. You can
obtain these part numbers on an as-available basis through IBM
authorized remarketers.), but Gareth Cook is likely to have a better
answer :-)
