RE: Power Supplies



Hi Phil,

Not sure if I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill here, but looking
at their website, it states voltage 7-12v, current 20ma. I guess not
knowing much about the difference (regulated/unregulated) I just didn't
want to fry the damn thing straight off. I think I'll just go for a
regulated 9v and see what happens.

Likelyhood is that unregulated was specified because the unit itself has
regulation on board ... it is always OK to use a *REGULATED* PSU in
place of
an unregulated one as long as the current requirement of the device is
within the capacity of the PSU.

It is not OK to use an unregulated PSU in place of a regulated one...
