I've just got the SonyEricsson T610 which is fairly cheap if you take out a
contract, has good sized colour screen etc. I really like it. Upgraded to
it to be able to see status of my HA stuff via WAP and get pictures from
CCTV cameras. If you want more fully featured HTML browsing- P800 may be
worth a look although it was too bulky for me and I didn't want it's PDA
functions (I have an IPaq for that).

Paul.

What is the best mobile phone for HA?

I was thinking it would need to do WAP. Presumably Orange offers the
best deal (free 0800 data access, fastest speeds, etc) but what is
their coverage like compared to Vodafone and O2? What is their
international coverage like?

Tri-band would be nice, so you could keep an eye on home whilst on
holiday, and perhaps the ability to receive picture messages so you
could get webcam pictures if motion was detected?

What model phone would provide all these?

Thanks.
