I had not really taken much interest in the Slimp, but this mail may have
changed that.

Reading the "blurp" on the slimp I know that it displays the time
when not
in use for MP3, but you mention CALLER-ID. Does that mean you can get it to
display any messages you like? If so how - do you need additional hardware?

What else can it do?

I like the idea of the flush mount - have you got anywhere with it?

Im building a false chimney breast to flush mount my Plasma. I want to
flush
the Slimp in below so i can see the time, and caller-id stuff.

Is there any heat build up from the side vents ? - I think these will be
partially blocked by plasterboard...
