Re: Caller ID unit.

Well, you beat me to it then.

The Mitel (MT88E43BS) is the chip with the RS232 almost compatible output.

Datasheet here : http://assets.zarlink.com/products/datasheets/zarlink_MT88E43B_APR_99.pdf
Other docs: http://products.zarlink.com/product_profiles/MT88E43B.htm

Mitel got transmogrified into Zarlink as I recall.

Take loads of pictures to save me the trouble :-)

Cheers,

David

Subject: [ukha_d] Caller ID unit.

I'm trying to hack my caller ID unit to feed it into the PC.

The unit I have is a Betacom Preview 2, I have it in bits and the
only 2 chips on it are a MT88E43BS (9939 un) AND w91082N

any idea which of those might be the "221FSK" ?
