Hi Gary, I have an iPaq 3870 and it has terminal-services (TS) already
installed.

I connect to my server via TS and run ACE client on it, works excellently!

The only problem I have is if I let the iPaq turn itself off it disconnects
from TS requiring me to log on again, not major my inconvenient.

I made an ACE client screen with a number of buttons on it arranged in a
strange way.....

As you can not see a complete TS PC screen on an iPaq screen the iPaq TS
has 5 small buttons along the bottom left so you can click on the first
button that shows the top left part of the TS screen, the next button shows
the bottom left of the screen but the 3rd button shows the middle of the TS
screen, the 4th shows the bottom right and the last button shows the top
right of the screen, I therefore arranged 1 group of buttons on ACE to line
up with the top left of the screen, 1st button, the next group of buttons
are placed in the middle of the screen, 3rd button, and the last group of
buttons is located in the top right of the screen which is selected by the
last button....blimey I hope that makes sense?

This works great on the iPaq but I use the same ACE client screen on the
Fuji in the kitchen and you can see the whole iPaq screen, still works
excellently though...

HTH,

B.

Hi,

Just reading about PDA'S on the group, just wondered if theres away
of somehow selecting "lights on" on a screen, as an example?

How would it interface to X10?

Any freeware software?

Would it be running Pocket PC?

Regards,

Gary
