RE: ADSL & Wireless Routers

I've got the Linksys WAP54G Wireless Access Point, and also the PCMCIA
card for my laptop and it all works fine - very impressed and would
recommend it to anyone.

The wireless access point is a doddle to setup, and you basically just
plug it into your existing switch/hub and off you go.

Range is good and covers me at 54Mb across the whole house and garden,
although it's only a 3 bed, 2 storey house. I did notice an improvement in
speed though once I set it to be 802.11g compatible only, and not 802.11b
and 802.11g together.

In tests, I've had four different devices streaming lossless encoded WMA
files through the access point and have suffered no problems.
