Comedy moment at Maplins this weekend...

I just had to share this moment I had a Maplins (two resistors - don't
ask...)
this weekend.

Bloke next to me at the parts counter with his 'technical' mate clutching
two
double RJ45 face plates, after banging on about have ADSL fitted on Monday
and having to install 'loads' of cable to wire up his 'home network', asks
for
2 x 20metre lengths of 'CAT' cable.... :)

I nearly laughed out loud at -
a) only 40 metres? - most of us on this group have run 40 meters as an
afterthought when we've used the other kilometre+ up...
b) it's 'CAT5' muppet
and
c) I wonder what the other end of those face plates will be connected to?

BUT it does prove the country is moving into the 21st though...
