It really depends on who you setting this up for.  If its for any type of
client you definitely need to support passive. If its just for you and you
control the client (and hence are willing to open more ports on the client
side) then active is fine and hence just ports 20 and 21.

As I said, take a look at the website and send me an email direct if you
want to discuss it further before we get told were off topic.

Thanks for that.  The ftp server I'm using is the standard Micro-shaft IIS
Varity bundled with Win2k server.

I can get PORT mode to work by opening ports 20 and 21 on my router, but
passive mode - nada!
