I don't know Di Maggios [about to google for it] and I'm in a similar
position to yourselves just now. Ideally we need a solution that offers
decent food for those that want it [ME!!] and matches budgets of
everyone, especially as we also have students involved.

Personally I'd rather avoid that. I can't quite imagine getting lots of
tech kit out in a pizza hut, they tend to expect you not to stay 6 hrs
on one pizza each :-/ But if it comes down to that, will be better than
no meet.

I've just had another thought that could offer good, private space for
the tech side and combined with catering and supplying our own crate of
wine/beer/softdrinks could keep the cost to a reasonable amount per
head. It's going to take me a while to look into it, but if anyone is
strongly against that, let me know early so I don't bother :-)
