Before I too dive into having a look at MainLobby, could someone just
answer
two simple questions for me .



1)       Does MainLobby support multiple
clients in any intelligent way ? Or
is it effectively the same application just running on different PC's -
is
there any client server relationship at all. For example if I had a
graphic
representing a lamp that was displayed and controlled from one screen -
would the graphic state 'ON' or 'OFF' be updated in real time on the
other
screen.  Could I display what's  playing (perhaps an album cover)
on one
screen and keep a separate screen updated and in synch ?



2)       Is there a way to display text on a
ML client button or text area -
for example the name of the playing DVD and other info or perhaps the
text
of an incoming email ?



..or am I missing the point of ML - perhaps.

O.K.
I would say that most of the automators on this group, who use PC based
controller (Homeseer, Autom8it, Mister House...) have server in node 0
running 24/7 and use web access. Node 0 is usually in
loft/basement/garage
and not so conveniently located. Therefore web access is essential (e.g.
on
Tablet PC, IE running in kiosk mode)
Looking forward to see socket server soon.

  Right now, there isn't a way to control MainLobby from a webpage,
