RE: MainLobby Ver 2.0

I know that feeling only too well. - I *really* try hard to limit the amount
of software that my HA systems utilise to "best of breed", in the pursuit of
(hopfully) better stability, and simplicity of development and support (for
me!).

Girder definately falls in to the best of breed category, and is now
something that I couldn't do without...

So far, the software that I Employ is:

Homeseer (With Ocelot & Comfort plugins)
ACE Server, ACE Client, and ACE32
Girder (supports my Mouseremote and a VIOM)

... And that's it pretty much...

The only other software is specific hardware configuration tools which do
not actually *run* my HA, so I'm referring to things like ProntoEdit,
Comfigurator, CMAX, and so on, and then there's ancillary stuff like Media
rippers, media players and so on..

The big gaping hole that I have been wanting to fill for some time, is a
nice, *really* simple GUI to run on a TV and/or touchscreens. ACE client
goes some way to filling the touchscreen need, but I definately still want
to be able to produce a nice GUI, that's driven entirely by a remote handset
that I can deploy onto any TV in the house. Mainlobby has come the closest
so far to filling that gap, so I'm hoping that wil a little perseverance I
can make something out of it..
