It's still on-line ......

http://gadgeteer.org.uk/barcode/ukha_barcode/

Although not much is in it...... I'm looking to see if it would be
possible to query some existing on-line DB's.

I think more work is required on the detail within the database,
currently it only holds barcode, and description.

Perhaps should be

Barcode
Manufacturer
Product
Size

It is possible to get UPC databases however all carry some cost
overhead.

If there is interest in an on-line DB, possibly with a windows client
package (similar to CBBD for CD's & MP3's ) then I'd be willing to put
some work into the database again, and also provide access to it.
