Someone asked something similar to this recently but I don't think
there
were any replies?...
I'm just about to put my Sky+ box up in node 0. All cabling is
accounted
for (using Kat5 etc) except the digital optical output. My Amp is
downstairs in the AV room. As some broadcasts are starting to go 5.1
(when sky decide to spare the bandwidth!), I would like to ensure I can
get a 5.1 signal to my amp.
Any thoughts on how I can get the digital signal to my amp bearing in
mind I only have Cat5 between the AV room and Node 0. I really don't
want to lift up the floorboards again (brings back too many
nightmares!).
Paul.
