RE: PC Answer phone software

A long while back in the days of yore I had a copy of WinFax Pro that came
with Talkworks Pro, what a truly excellent program it(they) were...

I was so impressed I bought the latest edition which iirc was version 8,
only to find it did NOT have talkworks included despite saying it did on
the outside of the box!

To give Symantec their due credit, when I rang them to ask why they were
very apologetic and said it was meant to be made but they decided to drop
the product but the boxes had already been manufactured!

As a consolation prize they sent me the latest WinFax Pro.

Dam shame, TalkWorks was excellent and I would still be running it today if
it had been continued.

I still have the original media in a box somewhere...

Is winfax the continuation of this, or is it not as good as talkworks
(in which case I'd be interested to know where I could find talkworks
too).
