How many SliMP3 or Audiotron owners are there here who would like (and
use) a xAP gateway for their device to display messages ? I have a
rather untidy but fully functional version that I use internally, if
there is sufficient interest I'll finish it off and release it . Mine is
SliMP3 only at the moment but AT is very possible  too.

SliMP3's make great Ethernet connected display devices for xAP due to
their clear displays I use mine extensively and it works in conjunction
with the normal operation of the SliMP3.  I have one by the bed that is
normally off at night (or dim showing the time) - it can also show me.

Zone name triggered in an alarm condition (also lights
switched on/off in night mode)

If anyone comes up the drive

Any email from 'special' names I keep in a list

Weather forecast and outside temp at waking - plays a DAB
radio station as well

(Will show local traffic info using TPS but I don't have this
working yet)

PS I'll continue this discussion over on the xAP maillist but just
wanted to catch you 'users' who wanted this sort of functionality.
