i think the only motive is to get something cheaper than they expect it to
finally raise at action. I always ignore these e-mails and leave the
auction to finish normally - and have the ebay protection (for all it's
worth!).  In my case every auction has gained more than any fixed
price offer...

Hi All



As you've seen in an earlier post. I've stuck some stuff on eBay. I
have
had a load of emails from people wanting me to close the auction early
for a fixed bid from them.

I was going to just reply saying no thanks, but then realised that they
would have access to my email address and started wondering if they had
alternative motives? I guess I'm just a pessimist?

Any comments? Experiences? From a more seasoned eBayer?
