New member - Hello to group

Hi,

I've been looking for intelligent & automated systems for years. I
refurbed my last house 8 years ago and couldn't find anything, so, I
distributed phone lines, coax, speaker and alarm cable everywhere,
which was ok but didn't do anything much.

In my present house I have laid 1.8k of cat5e, 2-300m ct100, 100m
screened 8-core, 200m 79-strand speaker cable etc. But, I have still
to finish my extension and cannot connect it all up and check it is
working until probably april.

Mark McCall's site has been invaluable, I first found it over a year
ago and have been coming back to it ever since. It is definitely the
best and most accessible HA resourse on the web.

If anyone has any ideas on the following then please let me know,
a) inteligent alarms
b) web hosting
c) whole house audio
d) G3 & HA

Thanks
