Mouse Remote on XP?

Absolutely bloody typical this....

I just bought an X10 Mouseremote from LA which I'd planned to use as a 
simpler controller for my Lounge PC (rather than getting off my *rse to get
the wireless keyboard out...)

When I got it, I tested it out on a spare machine, which was running W98 -
worked like a charm.

Can't even install the drivers under XP though, - it absolutely flatly 
refuses.

A quick check on the Marmitek website shows no newer software than I've
already got...

Anyone know if there is a driver to make this work with XP? - otherwise
that's another pointless wasted purchase that's going to sit on the shelf
for the next 2 years....
