Had a similar problem with my Dell running W98.  Tried everything, it
kept freezing several times a day.  In desperation, I opened it up and
re-seated all the cards - I had seen some reference to a similar problem
caused by the video card not seating properly - et voila!  the problem
went away.  The machine still falls over every so often, but that's
just
