aha! looks like the upgrade you did put it into rc.net. If you do

cat /etc/rc.d/rc.net [Enter]

Then it should show you the ifconfig and route I was talking about 
earlier.... that explains it! :)

Have you done a reboot since you created the rc.sysinit.author...? if 
you haven't, then I'd not do one at the moment.... It *may* feck things
up, since as you can see rc.sysinit.author is being called before rc.net
which means TivoWeb would try to start up before your networking was 
initialised.... this may not be a problem, but may cause your network 
access to be unavailable, requiring a drive pull... :( In the short term
until you get an editor (like Joe) onto the Tivo and we can change the 
order of things, you should do a

mount -o remount,rw / [Enter]
rm /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit.author [Enter]
mount -o remount,ro / [Enter]
sync [Enter]

However if you have rebooted and it worked fine, then it's not necessary
to do.

Brian, do you subscribe to UKHA_Tivo? It's probably a really good idea 
if we move this over there...... :D
