Expensive
Very Fiddly to install ( lots of desperate pleas for help in forums)
Flakey, your modchip can move a fraction of a milimitre and it stops working
and you have to open up your xbox again and do the fiddly bit.
On the v1.1 xboxes, I think  you have to solder in all the LPC points
anyway, so its not no-solder.
