It depends on your soldering, if you are crap, use the Matrix, if you are
average, go for the cheapmod or X2:lite pin header, If you are really good
at soldering, or are on a budget, go for a 29 wire homebrew.

I have all of the above, apart from the Matrix.

Costs :- (without installation)

Homebrew, 29 lengths of wire and an eeprom.
Cheapmod, about ?15
X2:Lite, about ?30
Matrix, not sure.

That is the Matrix, personally I wouldn't touch it, but if you can't solder,
it is your best option.
