Polaron update (was C_Bus)

I thought I'd hijack

Sounds very similar to the capabilities of the Polaron controller - it
has local inputs and outputs (my alarm panel has 12 0V programmable
outputs), plus it knows the status of any switchplate on the system. It
took me a while to get my head round the programming (Polaron uses
"pins" which are on or off rather than lines of code, so the programming
is visual).

I'm still waiting for Mark Harrison to develop a xAP connector for it
(patiently I must add), but in the meantime I do have a point and click
interface which allows me to operate any of the physical buttons (plus
any virtual buttons I care to define).

All in all I'm pleased with what it does and although I've yet to see an
invoice (admin cock-up) I do feel that it is a very expensive light
switch!

Tim.
