Hi Michael,

When you buy your xbox in the shop, it can do the following :-

Play games ;)
play Audio CD's
Rip Audio CD's to WMA format on the built in 8/10 gig HDD

Buy the dvd kit, and you can play DVD's for the region of the kit.

Install a modchip, and well there is so much you can do, I don't know where=
to start. Basically it then becomes an x86 compatible PC which anyone (who<= BR> can get hold of certain copyright software) can program whatever they want<= BR> for.

To give you an idea of whats possible, I will give you the spec of the xbox= ,
and let your imagination work out the rest ;)

Celeron 733 cpu
64 Megs of ram
8/10 gig hdd
TV-out
Optional VGA out
Optional RGB out
Optional Optical out
Built in 10/100 full duplex port

Or check thru www.xbox-scene.com for released apps.

Cheers, Des.
