Do you NEED the "XBox DVD playback kit" to play DVDs?
Looking at the official sites, it appears to be a Remote Control only,
and I would hope that a Pronto could do that :-)

He has them chipped. For 150 quid you get a fantastic games console,

DVD player, MP3 player, DivX player (isn't that new KISS DivX player

quid alone?). With it's 100meg ethernet port you don't even need

have the DivXs on it's own hard drive, you can just stream them off
your
server.
There seems to be so much development/hacking going on that the future
looks superb for xBox. I'm buying one soon :)
