RE: Wireless Woes

No, from memory you can put the ME102 into 'bridge mode' but that's for
joining two *wired* lans together with a wireless link (ie. two seperate
lans in to two buildings on either side of a road). It won't do a repeater
type.

The only way to do it is to plonk the ME102 somewhere 'near enough' for the
WET11 to hear it (use different channels and SSID's) and then cable from the
ME102 to the Router. With luck you may be able to keep the cable short and
hidden.

This got lost in the MS frenzy today....

I have a Netgear Wirelss Router upstairs and I want to connect TiVo
using a Linksys WET11. Unfortunately the signal is not available in the
living room due to think walls etc. I have a Dell Rg1000 and a Netgear
ME102 knocking about. Is there any way I can used thse as a stand alone
  repeater of some sort??

  Regards

  Michael
