Thanks once again :)

Luckily I brought in the main contractors and they were outraged at what an
awful job the subcontractors had made.  The boss man was very good though,
and at no notice pulled a plasterer off the job plastering his own kitchen
to come and pull off all my plaster and do a proper job!  There's service!

I didn't end up taking many piccies after the final plastering had been
done - so just what's on the site.

Cheers,
-Dan

Me too, that looks like a bang on job.

What did you do to make neat the plastering done by the subbies? Looks
like I could have done a neater job.

Are your walls plasterboard? I'm moving in to a new house sometime soon
and the walls are all plasterboard with proper floorboards as well.

Anyone got any tips on putting cable behind plasterboard? is it best to
just rip it off? will there be horizontal beams behind it at the bottom
or will I be able to come straight up from under the floorboards? (House
  built c1984)
