Re: Freevo
Stuart,
I'm currently in the process of setting up a box.. and testing both
Freevo and MythTV... (http://mythtv.org http://freevo.sourceforge.net)
Unfortunatly MythTV site says it does require a nippy machine... but
i'm
hoping that it'll work with poor quality on my spare 450.
I recommend you have a look at the mythtv site, the screenshots
look
great, and i cant wait to get it running.
It has lots of features which freevo are currently trying to
implement... i'd like the best of both with the divx/dvd etc player...
and tv (timeshifting, recording etc). Hopefully it should come to this
soon...
Anyone else got mythtv or freevo up and running?
I've heard that freevo is rather easier to install that mythtv... due
to
all the lovely dependancies in mythtv ;) (i think there is a gentoo
ebuild due soon...)
